Monkey Insane, a Nu-Metal band that dominated the indie music scene from 2001 to 2007, not only snatched the crown of the 4th Haiyan Rock Festival, but was also nominated for the Best Band at the Golden Melody Awards in 2003 and 2005. Mountain Chen is the lead guitarist of Monkey Insane. He joined EGGO Music Production and Sound in 2011. Through accumulating many years of experience as an arranger, he was awarded the Best Arranger by Hito Radio Music Awards for the song “Jamaican Betel Nut” by Amit. Rock and EDM are both the genres that he has applied himself to in recent years.
